Ian is an experienced educator who partners with school leaders and teachers to design professional learning and development (PLD) programmes to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics and statistics in New Zealand primary schools.

He also designs games and progression posters to deepen understand, including his iPad app, Math Slide, which has been downloaded over 15 million times and is used throughout New Zealand and around the world.
