With extensive classroom and specialist experience, she blends the Science of Reading with explicit, predictable routines that build teacher confidence and sustainable practice. Anne works alongside educators to turn evidence into action—ensuring every learner has access to effective, engaging literacy instruction.

With expertise in structured literacy, explicit instruction, and early intervention, she supports teachers to implement evidence-based practice with clarity and confidence. Kristin is deeply committed to improving outcomes for struggling and neurodivergent learners through practical, sustainable teaching approaches.

Adrienne Kinder

As an educator and Ministry of Education PLD facilitator, Adrienne works with teachers nationwide to grow and sustain the Structured Literacy approach by developing teacher knowledge and pedagogy to raise literacy outcomes for all students.

Liz Kane

For more than 10 years, Liz Kane has been paving the way for teaching literacy in New Zealand schools. Following an extensive career in teaching, Liz identified that there was a fundamental missing piece: structured literacy. Liz was called to Structured Literacy Coaching in New Zealand, attending intensive training overseas and bringing thought-leading concepts to our country.

Kirsty believes that all children deserve access to an education that teaches them to read and write and is excited that evidence-based practice is gaining momentum in New Zealand. Teachers, like their students, deserve to be equipped with the knowledge and practice essential to delivering quality literacy instruction.

Fem Castles

Fem’s teaching career has taken her to diverse educational landscapes, ranging from large schools boasting over 1000 students to the intimate setting of a small full-primary school with just 25 students. This varied experience has equipped her with a unique perspective, allowing her to cater to the specific needs of different learning environments. Fem’s teaching journey includes teaching in New Zealand, London and Brisbane, offering a global perspective on education.
